Learning to practice Anapana meditation is very valuable because it helps you to become a better person. Practising Anapana meditation will help you to train your mind to become concentrated and calm. This will make your mind strong so that you will be able to avoid doing or saying things that are hurtful or harmful to yourself and to others. This strength of mind will help you to feel happier and more peaceful. Practising Anapana and learning to concentrate will help you to become the master of your mind.

To help you succeed in practising Anapana meditation it is important that you do your best to follow the instructions that you will be given during the course. In the same way that a house needs a good foundation to support it, so the practice of Anapana needs a good foundation. This good foundation for Anapana is built by following the Code of Conduct. It will help you to avoid performing actions that are harmful or hurtful to yourself and others.

8:30am to 9:30am Arrival time and check-in (Please allow enough time to register)
9:30am to 9:50am Orientation for children
10:00am to 10:45am Introduction and Anapana meditation instructions
10:45am to 11:20am Rest and Snack
11:20am to 11:50am Meditation
11:50am to 12:20pm Group Check-in and Story
12:20pm to 1:20pm Lunch and free time
1:20pm to 2:00pm Meditation and small group checking
2:00pm to 2:35pm Age Appropriate Activity / Crafts Project
2:35pm to 3:05pm Meditation
3:05pm to 3:25pm Quick group check-in re: new instructions and Story
3:25pm to 3:35pm Children fill out Course Evaluation forms
3:35pm to 4:05pm Snacks and Activity / Finish up crafts project
4:05pm to 4:25pm Meditation
4:25pm to 4:55pm Ending talk and Metta Instructions
5.00pm Course ends
